Raytheon Lands $413M Follow-On USAF Award to Sustain Taiwan Surveillance Radar

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) will continue to provide sustainment support to the Taiwan Surveillance Radar Program under a $412.6 million contract from the U.S. Air Force, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The sole-source award is for a foreign military sale of follow-on sustainment services and comes more than three months after the State Department cleared an approximately $665.4 million FMS deal associated with the program.

Taipei aims to ensure the continued operability of the system built to help Taiwan’s armed forces gain situational awareness and threat warning data critical to regional security efforts.

Work under Raytheon’s firm-fixed-price contract has an expected completion date of Dec. 31, 2027.
