Northrop VP Kenneth Robinson Promoted to Chief Diversity Officer

Kenneth “Kenny” Robinson, a more than 14-year veteran of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has been promoted to vice president and chief diversity officer.

His promotion is effective May 31 and he will hold the additional title of president at Northrop’s philanthropic organization, the company said Tuesday.

Robinson will succeed Sandra Evers-Manly, who will retire from the aerospace and defense contractor after four decades of service.

He serves as vice president of engineering and sciences for the maritime and land systems and sensor and field engineering division within the company’s mission systems sector.

The U.S. Air Force Academy graduate came to Northrop in 2007 after a distinguished military career, which included 10 years at the Space and Missile Systems Center and leadership of USAF’s Global Positioning System Control Segment Group.
