Technology industry veterans Michael Miller, Jim Keenan, Anna Levine and Cindy Brent have joined Red Hat’s public sector team as the software provider focuses on helping government customers navigate their transition to hybrid and multicloud environments.

Miller, formerly head of the federal team at Veeam Government Solutions, has been named vice president of enterprise sales for Red Hat’s public sector, Clara Conti, VP and general manager of the software company’s public sector business, wrote in a LinkedIn post published Tuesday.

Miller brings to the role over 25 years of leadership experience supporting government clients and knowledge in cybersecurity, data analytics, code free development, DevOps and data protection.

Keenan will serve as VP of public sector sales for the Department of Defense at Red Hat.

His three decades of experience in the tech industry included time holding leadership positions at VMware (NYSE: VMW), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) and Dell. He has advanced the use of software-as-a-service and on-premises systems to deliver end-user computing platforms to system integrators and federal agencies.

Levine has been appointed senior director of public sector sales for defense and national security programs at Red Hat.

Prior to Red Hat, Levine held executive positions at IBM (NYSE: IBM), Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and gained experience and knowledge in supporting DOD and commercial clients across the areas of cloud, information technology as a service, data operations and enterprise software.

Brent will oversee the delivery of capabilities to federal civilian agencies in support of their business requirements as senior director of business development, federal, at Red Hat.

She previously worked at IBM and Amazon Web Services and focused on providing hybrid and public cloud offerings to customers.

“Red Hat has the opportunity to become the de facto standard for delivering open hybrid cloud solutions that can accelerate our customers’ missions. These new leaders will be tightly focused on delivering that vision,” said Conti, a 2022 Wash100 Award winner.
