Exiger has appointed Gustave Perna, a retired U.S. Army general, as a strategic adviser to support the delivery of supply chain artificial intelligence capabilities to defense and government customers.

Daniels added that Perna’s experience across military logistics, readiness and national security will help accelerate next-generation AI capabilities to ensure security, strengthen resilience and modernize operations supporting critical systems.
Who Is Gustave Perna?
Perna is a retired four-star Army general who spent 38 years in military service. He held several leadership roles during his military career, including commander of Army Materiel Command, chief operating officer of Operation Warp Speed and commander of Joint Munitions Command and led major deployments.
In May, he joined SAP NS2 as executive vice president and strategic customer officer. In this capacity, he oversees customer engagement initiatives in support of customers across defense, government and highly regulated industries.
The University of Maryland business management graduate holds a master’s degree in logistics management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
What Is Exiger?
Exiger provides AI-driven supply chain and risk management platforms for the U.S. government and military.
The latest appointment came two months after the company tapped former Zilliant executive Adi Kavaler as chief technology officer.
In November, Exiger partnered with Palantir Technologies to deliver an integrated AI capability to help the Army strengthen its multi-tier supply chains and operational readiness. The company also secured a multi-million-dollar contract from the Army to license its 1Exiger software to Army Materiel Command.
