Unmanned Aviation Veteran Chris Corgnati Appointed MissionGO President

Chris Corgnati, a former U.S. Navy captain and veteran of the unmanned aviation sector, has been named president of Baltimore, Maryland-based unmanned aircraft system maker MissionGO.

He will lead the company’s pursuit of type certification with the Federal Aviation Administration for drone offerings and its initiatives to grow delivery, utilities and infrastructure inspection and training businesses, MissionGO said Tuesday.

The 25-year Navy veteran previously served as chief operating officer of PAE ISR and vice president of programs with NASA and the Department of Defense at Crown Consulting.

Corgnati succeeds Tony Pucciarella, who stepped down as president to focus on his CEO duties at UAS fleet management company AlarisPro and will continue to support MissionGO as a board member.

“As a fellow Navy leader, I’m confident that his vast experience is a testament to the strength of MissionGO and the rapid growth within the UAS industry more broadly, and he will take MissionGO to the next level,” Pucciarella said of his successor.
