Boeing Awarded $429M for Lot 11 Poseidon Aircraft Long Lead Materials, Support Services


Boeing (NYSE: BA) will obtain long lead materials and related services for the eleventh batch of P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft units under a $428.8M advanced acquisition contract modification.

The modification funds procurement of items needed to build six P-8As for the U.S. Navy, four for New Zealand and another six for South Korea, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Purchase details are as follows:

  • Navy: $180MM
  • New Zealand: $87.9M
  • South Korea: $160.9M

The Pentagon expects work to be complete by June 2020.
