Boeing Secures $112M Navy Order for F/A-18E/F Block III, E/A-18G Aircraft Equipment

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has booked a $111.9 million undefinitized firm-fixed-price order from the U.S. Navy to manufacture and deliver avionics long lead time parts and spares in support of the F/A-18E/F Block III and E/A-18G aircraft.

The Department of Defense said Thursday the award, which was made against a previously issued basic ordering agreement, supports the advanced crew station suite; life of type buys for parts that have or will become obsolete; and special test equipment in support of the aircraft used by the Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and the country of Kuwait.

Work will run through May 2028 and majority of efforts will be conducted in Berkley, Missouri; Haifa, Israel; and Merrimack, New Hampshire.

The Navy will use its fiscal 2023 and 2024 aircraft procurement funds as well as foreign military sales customer funds to obligate approximately $30.5 million at the time of award.

Naval Air Systems Command serves as the contracting activity.
