DARPA Taps Northrop, Raytheon, Collins Aerospace to Develop Counter-A2/AD Platforms

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Collins Aerospace has landed contracts from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop technology platforms for countering anti-access/area denial threats. DARPA selected the three companies to participate in the first and second phases of the System-of -Systems Enhanced Small Unit program, according to a notice posted Tuesday on the beta SAM website.

Six Contractors Win Spots on $425M Air Force Multiple-Award Construction IDIQ

The U.S. Air Force has selected six companies to support construction projects on Germany-based military sites under a potential five-year, $425M contract. Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has won a potential $727M contract to help the U.S. Air Force and Army migrate information technology applications to cloud infrastructure. SAIC said Thursday it will update 800 mission apps for the two service branches under the USAF-awarded Common Computing Environment contract, or Cloud One.
