Lockheed Named Largest Contract Recipient in DOD’s Fiscal 2019 State-Level Spending Report

A state-by-state analysis of Department of Defense spending showed Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) took the first three spots on a list of top 10 contract awardees during fiscal year 2019. The list also includes General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), BAE Systems, Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII), Humana (NYSE: HUM), L3 Technologies, which now operates as L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) after it merged with Harris, Raytheon and United Technologies Corp. Raytheon and UTC merged in April 2020 and the combined entity now runs as Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX).

Boeing Gets $1.7B Air Force Contract Option to Build Additional KC-46 Tankers

Boeing (NYSE: BA) will manufacture 12 more KC-46 aerial refueling aircraft for the U.S. Air Force under a $1.69B contract option. The award for the sixth KC-46 tanker production lot covers licenses, data, subscriptions and a flat file, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Boeing to Continue Air Force Bomber Engineering Services Under $400M Contract Modification

Boeing (NYSE: BA) will continue to help the U.S. Air Force engineer B-1 and B-52 bomber planes under a two-year, $400M contract modification. The AF Life Cycle Management will obligate $33.9B at the time of award covering recurring and non-recurring engineering services through Dec. 31, 2022, the Department of Defense said Friday.
