Leidos to Support Afghan Military Helicopter, Fixed-Wing Aircraft Fleets Under Potential $728M Contract


Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential $727.7 million contract from the U.S. Army to support the helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft fleets of Afghanistan’s air force and special mission wing.

The Army obligated $126.7 million in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Leidos’ innovation unit will perform contract work in Kabul, Afghanistan, through May 31, 2020.

The Army Contracting Command solicited bids for the firm-fixed-price via the internet and received one offer.
