Boeing Names Wendy Livingston Interim HR SVP; David Calhoun Quoted

Wendy Livingston, vice president of corporate human resources at Boeing (NYSE: BA), will succeed Heidi Capozzi as senior VP of HR on an acting basis when the latter steps down in early April.

Capozzi, who has been with the company since 2009 and has served in her current role since 2016, will leave her job to "pursue another opportunity," Boeing said Monday.

Livingston will oversee functions related to leadership and learning, employee and labor relations, diversity inclusion, rewards and talent planning in her interim capacity.

She assumed her current full-time role in 2017 and has since then led an HR team that works with C-suite executives in the areas of information technology, engineering, law, governance and supply chain operations.

"Wendy is a proven human resources leader who brings strong business and customer knowledge, extensive experience, and passion for employee and leadership development to this interim role," said David Calhoun, president and CEO of Boeing,

Since joining the company in 1995, Livingston held HR leadership roles of increasing responsibility including managing the company’s talent and leadership organization focused on internal development.

She also oversaw HR-related matters within the firm's commercial aviation services segment.
