Transportation Dept Issues 2 Draft Solicitations for Enterprise IT Shared Services IDIQ

The Transportation Department has released two draft solicitations for a potential seven-year, $700 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for enterprisewide information technology shared services.

A FedBizOpps notice posted June 26 says the Enterprise IT Shared Services contract has a base term of two years that is set to begin on Oct. 1 and five option years that will run through the end of September 2026.

The department™s office of the IT shared services will oversee the EITSS contract that aims to provide IT staff and services to support ITSS projects and platforms that include infrastructure, security, endpoints and networks.

The EITSS IDIQ contract consists of three performance work statements and those are program management and integration support; end user support; and infrastructure operations.

The first draft solicitation focuses on program management and integration support and covers six task areas: program management; project management; process and integration support; business relationship management; asset management; and product and service catalog support.

The other draft request for proposals deals with infrastructure operations and includes management; endpoint engineering; application hosting; infrastructure engineering; data center operations; and infrastructure operations task areas.

Responses to the draft RFPs are due July 9, according to the notice.
