He will report to Thad Anderson, general manager of Presidio Federal, as he oversees the company’s strategy and implementation of sales initiatives and leads efforts to pursue new revenue streams and achieve corporate goals, the company said Monday.
Anderson said Nylund is a results-oriented sales leader who has built relationships in the defense, federal civilian and intelligence sectors and his experience growing sales organizations and understanding of OEM tools and operations will be key as the company delivers platforms to federal agencies to help address the gap between agency requirements and government mandates.
Prior to Presidio Federal, Nylund worked at iboss as senior federal sales executive. He also held sales leadership roles at Palo Alto Networks (Nasdaq: PANW), Exabeam, Blue Coat Systems and Fortress Technologies.
Nylund said he is excited to join the leadership team as Presidio Federal works to help agencies advance network modernization, manage and secure data, automate processes using artificial intelligence and machine learning and migrate workloads to the cloud in support of their missions.
