The Reston, Virginia-based company said Tuesday Dankanikote will report to Jim Reagan, SAIC’s interim CEO and a past Wash100 Award winner, and oversee enterprise growth strategy and go-to-market execution across defense, space, intelligence and civilian markets.
“Ravi doesn’t just know SAIC, he knows the industry. He is deeply attuned to industry trends and the transformation that is occurring right now in the market in terms of what customers want and how they want to purchase it,” said Reagan.
Who Is Ravi Dankanikote?
Dankanikote is a veteran GovCon executive with over three decades of growth leadership experience. He has led high-performing, customer-focused business development teams and is known for aligning growth efforts with mission needs and long-term enterprise priorities.
The executive rejoins SAIC after spending the last four months as CGO at Peraton. Before that, he served as senior vice president for business development at SAIC for nearly five years. Dankanikote worked at CACI for 27 years, holding multiple senior positions in growth and business development, including senior vice president of business development and vice president of operations.
He currently sits on the boards of NDIA’s Washington Chapter, Executive Mosaic‘s BD Council and other nonprofit organizations.
