He will be part of the group that includes government veterans who provide advice to Paladin’s investment team on cybersecurity market trends, the company said Thursday.
“After decades helping operationalize and optimize technology for government agencies and large organizations, I am excited to help identify the next generation of digital solutions with Paladin,” said Phillips, a six-time recipient of the Wash100 Award.
Phillips’ leadership experience goes as far back as 1995, when he was chief financial officer of media company CTX. He assumed the same role at ManTech in 2005, and became president and chief operating officer of the government contractor in 2016. He was named CEO in 2018 and elected chairperson of the board in October 2022, nearly three weeks after Carlyle completed the acquisition of ManTech.
