Jeff Shockey, most recently vice president of global sales and marketing for Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) defense, space and security business, has been appointed senior vice president of global government relations at Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX).
Shockey will succeed Timothy McBride, who will formally depart his role later this year, and will communicate Raytheon’s business interests to U.S. and international policymakers. the company said Friday.
In his more recent capacity, Shockey represented Boeing in its engagements with members of Congress and federal agencies. His corporate responsibilities there also included coordination with embassies and oversight for foreign military sales.
He held senior staff roles in the House of Representatives before his move to Boeing and previously served as managing partner at government relations firm Shockey Scofield Solutions.
