Assured Enterprises CEO Stephen Soble said Tuesday the acquisition of NDAi is in line with the companys efforts to boost its cybersecurity platforms and services intended to protect national critical infrastructure and commercial sectors from cyber threats.
The Texas-based cybersecurity services contractor also named William Jacobs, former NDAi president and CEO, as head of its federal sector.
Jacobs said he plans to offer Assureds AssuredScanDKVTM vulnerability assessment tool and other cybersecurity platforms to the Defense Department and IC.
Jacobs is a retired U.S. Army brigadier general and a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
