The Defense Department said Thursday six companies received contracts worth a combined $99 million to support work within the Washington area of responsibility of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command through June 2017.
Meanwhile, six other businesses landed design-bid-build contracts worth a combined $90 million for Marine Corps installations within the East area of responsibility.
The following are the recipients of the Navy construction contracts:
- G-W Management Services
- EGI HSU JV
- C.E.R. Inc.
- Ocean Construction Services
- Kimball Construction
- Leebcor Services
G-W Management Services will perform repair work at a wastewater treatment facility in Maryland through July 2016 under the $2.6 million task order 0001, DoD said.
The following are the recipients of the Marine Corps contracts for new construction, repair, demolition, renovation, system installation and related services through June 2020:
- Civil Works Contracting
- Hager Construction
- Heard Contracting
- Onopa Services
- Quadrant Construction
- Team Henry Enterprises
DoD noted that Civil Works Contracting will install lighting at a physical training field in North Carolina by December under the $114, 815 task order 0001.
