Navy Selects 10 Small Businesses for $240M Washington Area Construction IDIQ


Ten companies won spots on a potential five-year, $240M contract to provide construction services for the U.S. Navy within Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s Washington area of operations.

NAVFAC received 50 proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal, the Department of Defense said Monday.

The IDIQ term runs through May 2024 and projects will primarily occur in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland.

Awardees are:

  • Belt Built and CFM joint venture
  • CER
  • Desbuild
  • Donley Construction
  • EGI-HSU JV
  • G-W Management Services
  • Repaintex
  • Tidewater
  • Tuckman-Barbee Construction
  • Veterans Construction Coalition

CER received the $4.3M initial task order to renovate rooms at the Naval Research Laboratory. DoD expects the company to finish work by December 2020.
