  • The modification raises the value of the task order to $816 million
  • DARPA’s contract with SecuriGence began in September 2021 to support the agency’s multiple information technology network

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded SecuriGence a $121 million contract modification to extend an existing task order to support the agency’s IT multi-network support services, or MNSS, the Department of War announced Monday.

What Are the Details of the DARPA Contract?

SecuriGence will perform work under the new contract in Arlington, Virginia, and is projected to be completed by June 2027, with DARPA as the contracting activity.

The modification increases the total cumulative face value of the MNSS task order to $816 million since it was initially awarded in September 2021. The contract, issued under the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule contract, was originally valued at $735 million and included a one-year base period and eight one-year option periods.

In 2023, DARPA’s IT directorate issued a task order modification worth $93.8 million, obligating $43.5 million in fiscal 2022 and 2023 research and development funds at the time of award. The agency extended the contract again the following year for $172 million, allocating $1.9 million and $34.7 million in fiscal 2024 and 2025 research and development funds at the time of award.

The latest modification is expected to be completed in June 2027, with the agency obligating $26 million in fiscal 2025 research and development funds at the time of the award.
