The contract supports the full life cycle of unmanned maritime systems, including unmanned underwater and surface vehicle technologies and modernization efforts. Navy platforms covered under the contract are used in missions such as explosive ordnance disposal, mine countermeasures, anti-submarine warfare, force protection and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
Work will primarily occur in San Diego, California, which accounts for 90 percent of contract activity, with the remaining work performed outside the continental U.S. Awardees will compete for future orders during the contract’s ordering period, which runs from May 12, 2026, through May 13, 2034.
