SAIC has appointed Paul Eremenko, an artificial intelligence expert, and Michael Rogers, a retired U.S. Navy admiral and a three-time Wash100 awardee, to its board of directors.
The company said Thursday Eremenko and Rogers will serve on the board’s audit committee and technology committee. Their appointments increase the board’s size from 11 to 13 members.
“I welcome Paul Eremenko and Admiral Mike Rogers to the SAIC Board as we advance our strategy to align investments to federal mission priorities while also driving innovation-led growth and shareholder value,” said SAIC Board Chair Donna Morea. “Their expertise in technology, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligence will be invaluable in accelerating the critical missions of our customers.”
Who Is Paul Eremenko?
Eremenko is CEO and co-founder of P-1 AI, a company focused on building agentic AI platforms for complex systems engineering.
He previously served as CEO of Universal Hydrogen from 2020 to 2024. Before that, he was senior vice president and chief technology officer at United Technologies, where he led engineering, research and development efforts and supported the merger of the company’s aerospace businesses with Raytheon.
Eremenko also held the CTO at Airbus and founded Acubed, the company’s Silicon Valley innovation center. Earlier in his career, he worked at Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects organization, Motorola Mobility and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, where he served as a program manager and later as deputy director and acting director of the Tactical Technology Office.
Eremenko, a private pilot, serves on the board of Eve Holding.
The MIT graduate holds a master’s degree in aeronautics from California Institute of Technology and a law degree from Georgetown University.
Who Is Michael Rogers?
Rogers is a retired four-star Navy officer who served as director of the National Security Agency and commander of U.S. Cyber Command from 2014 to 2018.
He has served as a senior adviser to the Brunswick Group since 2019.
During his military career, Rogers held leadership roles in cyber operations, intelligence and maritime operations. He led U.S. Fleet Cyber Command and U.S. Tenth Fleet from 2011 to 2014 and served as director of intelligence for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and the Joint Staff from 2007 to 2011.
He advised senior U.S. government leaders on cyberthreats while leading NSA and Cyber Command.
The U.S. Naval War College and Auburn University graduate holds a master’s degree in national security from National Defense University.
