Aretum Promotes Amy French to CFO

Government IT services contractor Aretum has promoted Amy French, most recently chief accounting officer, to chief financial officer.

Vienna, Virginia-based Aretum said French will oversee the company’s financial strategy, accounting, treasury, planning and analysis, and compliance functions as CFO.

She will also continue working with Aretum’s executive leadership team, investors and lenders to support operations and drive strategic growth initiatives.

Who Is Amy French?

French is a certified public accountant who brings experience across government contracting, aerospace and public accounting to her new role as CFO.

Since joining Aretum in 2023, she has helped strengthen the company’s financial organization by advancing internal controls, enhancing financial systems and reporting capabilities, and building processes to support the company’s growth.

She previously held leadership roles at Boeing, Aurora Flight Sciences and KPMG.

French has an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

What Does Aretum Do?

Aretum provides digital transformation, systems modernization, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other IT support services for government agencies. The company recently achieved Level 2 certification under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program.

In December, the company acquired Veterans Engineering to expand its federal IT capabilities. Its subsidiary, Miracle Systems, secured a position on the Missile Defense Agency’s potential $151 billion Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract.
