What Is the Scope of Field Operations & Customer Support Contract?
According to a notice published Friday in the Department of Homeland Security’s Acquisition Planning Forecast System, the firm-fixed-price task order, issued under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, covers the provision of single point of contact, or SPOC, IT help desk services along with headquarters and field IT specialist support across the agency.
How Does FOCUS Contract Support TSA?
The centralized SPOC help desk with IT specialist support is aimed at enabling TSA to maintain reliable, responsive IT end-user support to approximately 85,000 personnel operating across about 500 domestic and international sites. With the agency’s transportation security operations reliant on IT systems, the effort is designed to help ensure timely response and resolution to issues.
Other FOCUS Contract Details
The requirement will be competed and is not set aside for small businesses. TSA anticipates releasing the solicitation on Jan. 19, with contract award expected in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. Work will be performed in Springfield, Virginia, with contract completion projected for May 13, 2031.
