The Defense Logistics Agency has started soliciting information from potential vendors that could provide industrial product support services for the Corpus Christi Army Depot in Texas through a potential 10-year, $250 million follow-on contract.
The proposed CCAD Industrial Product Support Vendor Gen II contract will have a five-year base term and a follow-on five-year option period and will cover about 10,000 DLA-managed and commercially sourced national stock numbers, according to a sources sought notice published Monday on SAM.gov.
According to DLA, the IPV program provides logistics support and supply chain management for bench stock items for maintenance lines at several depots. These bench stock items are needed to support maintenance, repair and overhaul of military weapons systems and other equipment.
“The current CCAD IPV contract covers roughly 9,400 unique NIINs with approximately 50 bench stock locations in 20 buildings and 20,000 bins. It is anticipated that the scope of this follow-on effort will remain within the current scope,” according to the request for information.
The agency plans to hold an industry day in September at DLA Aviation Richmond in Virginia.
