The General Services Administration is calling for industry nominations to a new committee that will be tasked with advising federal agencies on cloud adoption and security matters.
Interested private sector professionals have until Feb. 9 to nominate themselves to become part of the 15-member Federal Secure Cloud Advisory Committee, the agency said Wednesday.
The FSCAC membership will include at least one member from an independent assessment organization under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, five representatives from cloud services companies and two members from a small business.
GSA added the panel will include the participation of federal agency chief information officers and officials from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
