Army Contracting Command received two bids for the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor Increment III project, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The award comes three months after Raytheon received a $353.9 million contract to manufacture additional prototypes of the LTAMDS, an active electronically scanned array equipped with company-made gallium nitride technology and intended to replace the branch’s Patriot radar system.
Work under the newly awarded contract is scheduled to conclude by Oct. 31, 2025.
