The retired Army major general joins Cerner Government Services from OptumServe, where he most recently served as SVP and led the strategic development of new business opportunities focused on the Department of Defense health market.
Sargent previously served as president of OptumServe’s emergency preparedness and response and as chief of staff for the federal health services provider.
