France-based information technology services provider Atos SE has made an unsolicited bid to acquire Tysons, Virginia-based IT company DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC).
DXC said Thursday its board of directors will assess the non-binding offer and the company had no prior knowledge of Atos' interest to submit such a proposal.
Reuters reports Atos offered to pay approximately $10B, including debt, for the proposed acquisition in a push to establish a global digital services provider.
