Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received a potential 13-year, $611.5M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide the U.S. Air Force with command and control switching systems.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday the IDIQ contact covers lifecycle logistics services for CCSS, including program management, quality control and assurance, data management, spare parts management and replenishment, contractor logistics support, engineering and technical support, software and hardware support and product configuration management.
CCSS is a key Defense Red Switch Network component that facilitates secure and non-secure data and voice communications and offers large-scale voice conferencing capabilities. Such switches have Defense Intelligence Agency accreditation for use with top secret/sensitive compartmentalized data multilevel security.
Work will occur at government facilities through Dec. 31, 2032.
