Expanse, a San Francisco-based internet operations management firm, has launched a new product designed to help organizations identify and manage internet risks and other vulnerabilities facing their suppliers.
Expanse Link works to provide organizations visibility into the supply chain and helps them pursue operational enhancements designed to reduce supplier-related risks, the company said Tuesday.
Matt Kraning, co-founder and chief technology officer of Expanse, said the companys platform monitors publicly routable services and assets and communication and configuration details to ensure the security of the supplier infrastructure.
Expanse Link extends this visibility to strategic suppliers so the parent organization can hold them accountable to the same standards they insist on for themselves, as well as help their suppliers rapidly identify and fix problems they would not have been able to find on their own, Kraning added.
Expanse Link identifies supplier-related internet assets across cloud and on-premises environments using mapping technology. The platform allows organizations to help suppliers with remediation and facilitate remote detection of network traffic across supplier networks.
