Bruce Larson, former partner at Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), will assume the role of chief human resources officer at global investment firm The Carlyle Group (Nasdaq: CG) on Nov. 4.
Larson will be based in Washington, D.C., and oversee a team responsible for the development and implementation of talent recruitment and retention efforts, training and development, compensation programs, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, performance management and other aspects of the companys HR strategy, Carlyle said Wednesday.
I look forward to working with its business leaders to build on Carlyles collaborative culture as we continue to attract and develop world-class talent and help the firm seize new opportunities worldwide.
Previously, Larson served as head of human capital in Asia Pacific and India at Goldman Sachs. He also helped establish the companys HR department in 1995 and implement talent and people practices within the investment banking and merchant banking divisions.
