Ian McCulloh
Ian McCulloh, formerly a chief scientist at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, has been named chief data scientist within the analytics and applied intelligence practice at Accentures (NYSE: ACN) federal arm.
Bryan Rich, head of the analytics and applied intelligence practice at Accenture Federal Services, said in a statement McCullohs experience in using applied science to test and field data science platforms will translate into value at scale for our federal customers.
McCullohs tenure at Johns Hopkins included time as a lecturer at the university’s Whiting School of Engineering and as an associate professor at the School of Public Health.
He spent two decades in the U.S. Army, where he served as a senior strategist at Central Command, established the West Point Network Science Center and formed the Advanced Network Analysis and Targeting program.
McCulloh served as a visiting research fellow at Curtin University and as an assistant professor at the U.S. Military Academy.
