Oshkosh Corp.™s (NYSE: OSK) defense unit has received a $484 million order to supply the U.S. Army with 1,574 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles and associated installed and packaged kits.
JLTV recently completed multiservice operational test and evaluation with the Army and U.S. Marine Corps to check its readiness to support troops, Oshkosh Defense Joint Programs General Manager George Mansfield said in a company statement issued Friday.
Oshkosh also pursued reliability qualification testing earlier this year for the vehicle, which numbers more than 2,000 in total units produced with over 1,600 delivered to the Army and Marine Corps.
The company expects a decision for full-rate production of the vehicles in fiscal year 2019.
