Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a one-year, $158.3 million delivery order from the U.S. Navy to help modify and retrofit air systems for domestic and international F-35 jets.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday the company’s aeronautics business will provide program management, recurring and non-recurring engineering, site support and touch labor services through the cost-plus-fixed-fee order.
The Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, a non-DoD participant and foreign military sales customers of the Joint Strike Fighter program will receive the services.
Work will occur at a Lockheed facility in Fort Worth, Texas and the company is scheduled to complete work in February 2019.
