KBR‘s (NYSE: KBR) government services business has received a five-year, $442 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide engineering services in support of NASA‘s space exploration missions.
KBRwyle will support ground systems and operations for more than 20 missions managed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center under the Ground Systems and Mission Operations-2 contract, the company said Wednesday.
The GSMO-2 contract covers concept studies, design, development, integration, test, verification, operations and mission systems and subsystems sustainment support.
Stuart Bradie, KBR president and CEO, said the company has supported NASA’s science and technology initiatives for more than 50 years.
KBRwyle offers systems and sustainment engineering, program and acquisition management, life science research, space medical operations, information technology and aircraft, weapon and network test and evaluation services to the federal government.
