Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has received a potential 10-month, $246.5 million contract modification to continue to provide engineering, science and technical support for NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama.
The modification seeks to exercise an option in the Engineering and Science Services and Skills Augmentation contract and represents a $150 million increase in contract value, Jacobs said Thursday.
The contract covers support for Marshall centers work on the agencys Space Launch System, International Space Station and other space technology development programs.
Work began on Oct. 1 and will continue through July 2017, the company added.
