Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has received a potential 10-month, $246.5 million contract modification to continue to provide engineering, science and technical support for NASA™s Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama.
The modification seeks to exercise an option in the Engineering and Science Services and Skills Augmentation contract and represents a $150 million increase in contract value, Jacobs said Thursday.
The contract covers support for Marshall center™s work on the agency™s Space Launch System, International Space Station and other space technology development programs.
Work began on Oct. 1 and will continue through July 2017, the company added.
