Elbit Systems Lands $90M Contract to Provide APAC Country Electro-Optic Sensor Tech

Elbit Systems (Nasdaq: ESLT) has received a potential four-year, $90 million contract to supply an Asia-Pacific country with SPECTRO XR electro-optic systems.

Bezhalel Machlis, president and CEO of Elbit Systems, said in a statement released Sunday the contract seeks to demonstrate the company™s efforts to develop new systems designed to meet customers™ requirements.

SPECTRO XR is an intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance platform designed for integration with ground, naval, fixed- and rotary-wing platforms.

The system also has the Spectrox multi-spectral telescope, automated video tracker, thermal imager, laser pointer, dual cameras and laser designator rangefinder.
