M1 Support Services has won a $193.8 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for the operations and maintenance of the Northrop Grumman-built (NYSE: NOC) T-38 Talon trainer aircraft.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday the contract requires M1 to provide support on companion training services for B-2 and U-2 pilots and adversary air assets for F-22 pilots.
Work will occur at Beale Air Force Base, Holloman Air Force Base, Langley Air Force Base, Tyndall Air Force Base and Whiteman Air Force Base through Sept. 30, 2025.
The contract was awarded through a competitive procurement process with two bids received.
T-38 is a supersonic jet trainer that supports the Air Education and Training Command’s joint specialized undergraduate pilot training as well the Air Combat Command, Air Force Materiel Command and NASA for multiple functions.
M1 offers aviation support services, logistics, information technology, training services, supply chain management, acquisition and facilities and equipment maintenance for government customers.
