Six companies have won spots on a potential seven-year, $538 million contract to engineer and integrate battle management and command-and-control systems for the U.S. Air Force.
The Air Force received 10 offers for its Platform for Engineering and Integration of Tactical and Strategic Systems contract through a competitive process and has obligated $5, 000 each to the six awardees at the time of award, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The program is scheduled to run through Jan. 27, 2023, and covers support for airspace management, surveillance, communications, close air support and weapons control systems.
Locations of work will be determined upon issuance of each delivery order.
