NOBLE Wins Spot on $500M Army JPEO-CBRND Commercial Solutions IDIQ Contract

NOBLE has won a position on a potential $500 million U.S. Army contract to provide commercial-off-the-shelf items and equipment for the service branch’s Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense, or JPEO CBRND.

JPEO CBRND Commercial Solutions Contract Scope

The company said Tuesday JPEO CBRND Commercial Solutions is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract used to rapidly acquire CBRND equipment and supplies, ancillary training and related support services.

Products that can be procured through the contract vehicle include personal protective equipment, detection and monitoring equipment for toxic industrial chemicals and materials, and decontamination products.

Noble said it could support the contract by providing portable analytical instruments, uncrewed systems, personnel screening systems, training, area monitoring systems and equipment lifecycle sustainment services.

According to notices published on the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, 19 companies secured spots on the Army JPEO CBRND Commercial Solutions IDIQ contract.

What Does the JPEO CBRND Do?

JPEO-CBRND is an organization that provides integrated chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense capabilities and medical countermeasures for the Joint Force across warfighting functions and combined joint all-domain operations. It aims to support CBRN-integrated layered defense and deterrence by denying adversaries the advantage in using CBRN weapons.

The organization’s acquisition authority comes from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology.

Through the General Services Administration, JPEO CBRND started soliciting industry comments in December on its draft request for proposals for the procurement of commercially available CBRN items and equipment.
