OMNI has appointed Eric Grein as vice president of corporate development and strategy. In his new role, Grein will lead corporate development and growth strategies to scale capabilities and integrate advanced technologies, including modern software and data platforms, in support of national security missions.
Who Is Eric Grein?
Grein brings more than 10 years of investment banking experience in the aerospace, defense and government sectors. His work focuses on aligning strategy, capital and execution for mission-critical platforms.
In addition to his new role at OMNI, he was appointed VP of corporate development and strategy at T2S Solutions. In a recent LinkedIn post, Grein said he will partner with Madison Dearborn Partners to support a broader defense technology strategy. Both OMNI and T2S are included in Madison’s investment portfolio.
Grein previously spent seven years at Jefferies, most recently serving as a senior vice president for aerospace, defense and government. In that role, he advised public companies, private equity sponsors and founder-led businesses on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
Earlier in his career, Grein was an investment banking M&A associate at Wells Fargo Securities, where he supported advisory efforts across multiple sectors, including government-related businesses.
Strategic Leadership & Growth at OMNI
Grein’s appointment further strengthens OMNI’s leadership team, following the recent addition of Tim Coffin as vice president of strategic growth for space, directly aligning with the company’s mission to deliver advanced capabilities at mission speed.
This executive expansion comes on the heels of significant contract wins, including a position on the Missile Defense Agency’s potential 10-year, $151 billion Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense program awarded in December and a potential $427 million contract in June to provide essential cloud and DevSecOps capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s National Background Investigation Services.
