Leading the Navy’s Enterprise IT Modernization, Cybersecurity Efforts
This year marks Rathbun‘s second consecutive Wash100 win. The award recognizes her leadership and efforts in helping DON achieve multiple IT, data access and cybersecurity milestones in 2024.
One of those milestones is the formal designation of Naval Identity Services as DON’s enterprise IT service for identity, credential and access management.
“Jane is leading the Navy’s charge into the digital era, shaping its information superiority strategy and modernizing enterprise IT,” Garrettson said. “The distinguished CIO is spearheading major initiatives like the advancement of zero trust through Flank Speed and the streamlining of identity services across the DON. Like the most notable Wash100 winners, we’ll only truly grasp the breadth of her influence in the years to come.”
