Selle announced his new position in a LinkedIn post published Sunday.
Rob Selle’s Industry Background
According to his LinkedIn profile, he joined American Rheinmetall from U.S. vehicle manufacturer Loc Performance, where he was VP of the program management office and manufacturing engineering teams responsible for delivering products to defense, industrial and commercial markets.
In early December, Germany-based Rheinmetall completed its acquisition of Loc Performance to expand its U.S. defense market presence and strengthen its capability to deliver military vehicles to the U.S. Army.
Prior to Loc Performance, Selle spent more than eight years at Magna International, where he held the roles of global product technical director for advanced products and global product line director.
His industry career included time as a program engineering manager for vehicle modernization at BAE Systems, manufacturing systems manager at REMEC and senior mechanical engineer at Accuray Oncology.
The University of Toledo mechanical engineering graduate also held engineering management roles at Dana Corp.
