Robert Persons Named Sigma Defense Business Development VP

Robert Persons, former director at Sigma Defense Systems, was elevated to the role of vice president of business development at the tactical communications technology company.

The executive announced his most recent move via a LinkedIn post Wednesday.

Persons is a three-decade technology industry veteran who joined Sigma Defense in 2022 after holding a director role at ISPA Technology, where he worked with defense customers.

His career also includes nearly a 10-year stint at Radiance Technologies, serving as director initially and then stepping up as chief engineer responsible for leading a team in support of multiple technologically advanced programs for three major customers.

The new Sigma Defense VP also worked at Verizon Business as manager of network engineering and at Diversified Technology as MIS manager.
