Laura Wilde, an industry executive focused on advancing quality management across international organizations, has joined the maritime business unit of U.K.-based defense and security company Ultra Electronics as vice president of quality.
She will be based in the U.S. and will report to Carlo Zaffanella, president and CEO of Ultra Maritime, as she oversees the improvement of quality management and compliance processes, the company said Friday.
Wilde said she will advance a holistic quality mindset across the company to ensure the delivery of quality products and meet the needs of customers worldwide.
She most recently served as senior director of quality and mission assurance at Aerojet Rocketdyne, now a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).
Her industry career included time serving as director of quality for North America at Stanley Engineered Fastening, quality and continuous improvement manager at Schneller and technical manager at Americhem.
Wilde serves on the board of directors of the Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation.
