Eight contractors will compete for task orders under a potential five-year, $195 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force for transient alert services at multiple bases.
Support will be provided to aircraft without base assignment or needing routine servicing, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Services include aircraft management control, in-flight and ground emergency response, arrival, processing and departure support as well as environmental compliance assistance. Work will run through Aug. 31, 2028, at 59 Air Force bases.
