The Defense Information Systems Agency’s information technology contracting organization has issued a presolicitation notice to inform vendors about a Defense Commissary Agency requirement for hardware and software sustainment and mission support services.
A potential DeCA Enterprise Business Operations Systems Solution contractor would maintain systems deployed under 2015 contract awards to NCR Government Systems and IBM, according to the notice posted Monday.
NCR helped DeCA implement mission support software platforms under a $256 million contract won in 2015, while IBM replaced the agency’s point-of-sale hardware under a $319.6 million award announced in 2016.
The DEBOSS contracting plan envisions support for “NCR brand name hardware, software, services and third-party applications,” the notice on SAM.gov states.
Through the effort, DeCA would also seek annual renewal warranty and software support services and maintenance services for hardware currently part of the agency mission partner infrastructure.
Interested parties can submit input on the draft performance work statement through Aug. 31.
