This marks Shea’s seventh year of recognition in the elite Wash100 roster, which serves as a list of the top 100 most powerful, impactful executives to watch within the government contracting sector in the coming year.
Shea earned this year’s award for his outstanding leadership in integrating Peraton’s major acquisitions into a unified enterprise and for his continued success in securing significant contracts.
“Stu has taken the helm of Veritas-backed Peraton, which he successfully integrated with Perspecta, and he now holds the reins of one of the top GovCon firms serving the intelligence agencies,” Garrettson said of Shea’s accomplishments. “Stu has built consensus and a culture of winning as he has amalgamated many businesses into one mosaic moving in lockstep as a forceful integrator of people, companies and ideas.”
In an exclusive video interview with Executive Mosaic, Shea said the business integration moved rapidly, largely due to the company’s focus on its people and culture. “Most companies would take 18 months to integrate what we’ve done in seven,” he shared.
