In a notice published Thursday on SAM.gov, the Department of the Air Force said it is soliciting white papers for proposed new technologies involving areas such as aerostructures, propulsion, and vehicle integration and analysis.
PACER aims to encourage studies on new concepts and technologies to advance the branch’s aerospace assets. AFRL is interested in enhancing high-speed systems, power and controls, systems analytics, and air-breathing engines.
To implement the program, AFRL’s Aerospace Systems Directorate launched a two-step open BAA and BAA with calls. White papers will be accepted until May 10, 2043, and the branch will subsequently issue separate calls for white papers or proposals.
